QUICK ANSWER
McKenna Boiler Works, Inc. tunes and services burners and combustion controls from any manufacturer on industrial boilers across California. Technicians certified by South Coast AQMD for portable analyzer testing measure O2, CO, and NOx, set the fuel-air ratio across the firing range, and repair ignition, flame safeguard, and gas train problems. McKenna works on Power Flame, Industrial Combustion, Webster, Weishaupt, Riello, Limpsfield, Maxon, Cleaver-Brooks, and other burners, and on Autoflame, Fireye, Honeywell, Siemens, and other controls, on McKenna boilers and other brands. McKenna recommends quarterly tuning. Call (323) 987-1816 or email info@mckennaboiler.com.
Why tune
Why burners need regular tuning.
Linkages wear, fuel pressure changes, and seasons change the combustion air. A burner set right last year can be running rich, lean, or out of permit today.
A tuned burner uses less fuel, holds NOx and CO where your permit requires, and lights off cleanly. We recommend tuning quarterly to stay inside your air permit and run efficiently. Your air district rule or permit may set its own schedule.
