QUICK ANSWER

McKenna Boiler Works, Inc. sizes, supplies, and installs DuraVent stack and breeching systems for commercial and industrial boilers throughout California. Hot, dry flue gas from steam boilers and other non-condensing boilers goes into DuraStack or DuraStack Pro pressure stack, with a 0.035″ 304 or 316 stainless inner flue, 5″ to 36″, listed to UL 103. Condensing boilers get FasNSeal, DuraSeal, or PolyPro special gas vent. When a layout falls outside a catalog system, McKenna designs the stack with DuraVent’s engineering team. Call (323) 987-1816 or email info@mckennaboiler.com.

Start to finish

How a stack job runs.

01

Send the boiler data

Boiler make and model, flue outlet size, input, fuel, and photos of the room and roof. A McKenna engineer reviews it.

02

Size and select

We size the stack to the boiler and pick the DuraVent system for the flue gas and the clearances in your room.

03

Submittal and quote

You get the quote with the DuraVent submittal. Custom layouts are designed with DuraVent’s engineering team.

04

Install and start up

Our crews install the breeching and stack to the listing and code, then check it during boiler startup.

Stack and breeching specifications.

McKenna sizes every stack to the boiler it serves: the flue outlet, input, fuel, and the route from the boiler to the termination. The DuraVent system is picked by the flue gas the boiler makes.

*Listings vary by system. UL 2561 (1400°F factory-built chimney) applies to DuraStack Pro. UL 1738 and ULC S636 apply to special gas vent. In the U.S., PolyPro is listed with the boiler it serves.

DuraVent systems

DuraVent stack systems.

Hot, dry flue gas from a non-condensing boiler goes in a pressure stack. Cool, wet flue gas from a condensing boiler needs special gas vent. The venting category the boiler maker lists settles it.
