QUICK ANSWER
McKenna Boiler Works, Inc. does high-efficiency, ultra-low NOx burner retrofits across California, as low as 2.5 ppm NOx (corrected to 3% O2) on select models. New McKenna boilers come with a burner matched to the boiler and the emissions limit, and Autoflame controls come as a standard option. For boilers of 2,000,000 Btu/hr or less, McKenna has units pre-certified to South Coast AQMD Rule 1146.2. McKenna also installs, sets up, and tunes burners and controls from any manufacturer, and is a factory-authorized Limpsfield Burner Tech Center and Autoflame Tech Center. Limpsfield and Power Flame burners and Autoflame controls are what McKenna can recommend, but they are not the only options. Call (323) 987-1816.

Air district NOx rules.
Every California air district sets its own boiler NOx limits, by boiler size. We size the burner to the rule that applies to your boiler and help with the permit and source test. Outside these districts, we check the local rule first. For boilers of 2,000,000 Btu/hr or less in the South Coast AQMD, we have units pre-certified to Rule 1146.2.
